Corporate History:

The Newhaven Construction Group was started in 1988 and has evolved into a number of related companies all in the construction industry.  Newhaven Projects Limited Partnership is a joint venture between Newhaven Construction Group and Squamish Nation.  Newhaven Projects Ltd. is our general partner and operating company.  Newhaven Construction Management Ltd. is our professional company of quantity surveyors, construction managers, and technicians engaged in the efficient and effective management of construction projects.  Newhaven Construction Ltd. is our management contractor with bonding provided by the AXA Pacific group to carry out lump sum, cost plus contacts, management contracting and design/build.  Newhaven belongs to the I.C.B.A. and to the B.C. Safety Council, and is registered under the Aboriginal Procurement policy.

We operate out of our head office in North Vancouver and branch office in Victoria, and employ the latest in electronic systems to facilitate construction projects throughout B.C.  Our North Vancouver base includes a large warehouse we use for material storage and prefabrication for certain projects.  We also have use of extensive flat asphalt outside storage areas.

Our Staff possess extensive understanding and expertise in project planning, project management, funding concepts, and techniques, quantity surveying, cost estimating, scheduling, construction administration and site coordination.
